Senior Application Support Analyst (Banking Data Platform)

Location: Lisbon, Portugal; hybrid work model. Candidates must already have the legal right to work in the European Union.

What you will do

• Provide Level-2 support for the BATICA 787 application by analyzing and resolving incidents.
• Conduct functional and technical investigations, troubleshoot issues, and propose solutions.
• Monitor the production environment and execute preventive actions to maintain stability.
• Coordinate incident resolution with development teams and business stakeholders.
• Contribute to recurring-incident follow-up, root cause analysis, problem management, and service improvement.
• Document support procedures, incident reports, and knowledge articles, and assist with the migration from BATICA 556 to BATICA 787.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in application support, ideally in banking or financial data platforms.
• Strong skills in application troubleshooting, incident management, and data support.
• Experience supporting secure web applications and API platforms.
• Communicative English is required.
• Ability to communicate with technical and business teams and prioritize incidents by business impact and urgency.
• Existing legal right to work in the European Union is required.

Nice to have

• French language skills.
• Experience in financial institutions or data platforms.
• Knowledge of data access solutions and enterprise support tools.
• ITIL or similar IT Service Management certification.
