Senior Delivery Consultant (DevOps, AWS)

Location: Madrid, Spain; the position may require up to 50% travel to customer sites.

What you will do

• Design and implement complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer requirements.
• Gather stakeholder requirements, assess infrastructure, and propose migration strategies to AWS.
• Provide technical guidance, troubleshooting, and best practices throughout project delivery.
• Advise customers on industry trends, emerging technologies, and cloud solutions.
• Lead implementation activities, manage delivery risks, and optimize solution performance.
• Mentor colleagues, deliver training, and create reusable technical artifacts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and implementation.
• 5+ years of hands-on programming experience with languages such as Python, Go, Java, TypeScript, JavaScript, Ruby, .NET, or C++, plus YAML and JSON.
• 5+ years of experience designing scalable CI/CD strategies and using infrastructure-as-code tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, ArgoCD, Harness, CloudFormation, Terraform, or CDK.
• Hands-on experience with agentic IDE tools such as Kiro, Claude Code, or equivalent.
• Fluent English, written and spoken, is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, and VPC, plus AWS Professional-level certifications.
• Experience with containers, serverless architectures, Kubernetes, observability, SRE, GitOps, platform engineering, and multi-account AWS landing zones.
• Experience building data, ETL, MLOps, or LLMOps pipelines.
• Knowledge of compliance standards, DevSecOps, FinOps, and cloud cost optimization.
• Financial-services experience and professional working proficiency in Spanish.
