Data Hall Design Intern (AI Data Centers)

Location: Las Vegas, Nevada, United States; on-site. Travel to data center sites 1–2 times is required.

What you will do

• Produce drawings for liquid-cooled AI data halls in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Develop rack elevations, row layouts, and cable pathway routing.
• Create reusable Revit families and templates for repeatable reference designs across new sites.
• Participate in the same design review gates as full-time designers.
• Contribute work to a real construction drawing set during the internship.

Requirements

• Current enrollment in architecture, architectural engineering, mechanical, electrical, or civil engineering, construction management, or drafting and design technology; military drafting, engineering, or facilities experience; or at least 2 years of drafting, architecture, or MEP design experience.
• Working proficiency in AutoCAD or Revit, including coursework experience, and samples of CAD or BIM work.
• Ability to read construction and equipment drawings and understand plan, elevation, and section views.
• Strong attention to dimensions and drawing accuracy.
• Authorization to work in the United States is required.
• Availability for an on-site schedule in Las Vegas and travel to data center sites 1–2 times.

Nice to have

• Revit family authoring or template development experience.
• BIM coordination experience with Navisworks or clash detection.
• Data center, mission-critical, or high-density facility experience, or BICSI coursework.
• Dynamo or Python scripting for drawing automation and Bluebeam markup experience.
