HPC Onsite Technical Consultant (Borlänge, Sweden) (HPC)

Location: Onsite at an HPE partner/customer office in Borlänge, Sweden. The role includes participation in a 24/7 on-call rotation.

What you will do

• Provide onsite reactive hardware support for a large HPC system.
• Diagnose customer- and HPE-reported hardware issues and apply the required troubleshooting methodology and tools.
• Document remediation plans, technical records, maintenance actions, and outcomes in case management systems.
• Escalate unresolved issues to product L2/L3 support groups and management to ensure timely resolution.
• Perform hardware component interventions, monitor cooling distribution units, and follow the required operating routines.
• Manage spare-parts receipt, returns, inventory monitoring, and replenishment.

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent qualification in computer science or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience supporting computer systems hardware.
• Ability to work onsite at the customer location in Borlänge, Sweden.
• Availability to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation and meet strict SLA requirements.
• Ability to create accurate technical documentation and coordinate escalations with support teams.
