Hardware Engineer, AI Cluster Commissioning (AI)

What you will do

• Support deployment, commissioning, testing, and remediation of large-scale AI clusters with GPUs, high-speed networks, and high-performance storage.
• Install, modify, configure, and validate compute, networking, storage, firmware, cabling, and system components.
• Diagnose server, GPU, storage, and networking failures; collect logs and support root-cause investigations.
• Perform component-level replacement, hardware remediation, acceptance testing, and configuration verification.
• Coordinate with site teams, vendors, partners, project teams, and operations teams to resolve technical issues.
• Maintain service records, equipment logs, documentation, tools, spare parts, and inventory while following safety protocols.

Requirements

• Diploma or equivalent, technical certification, or trade qualification.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience maintaining and repairing IT equipment.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and under direction.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends during commissioning.
• Unrestricted driver's license required.
• Ability to safely lift and move IT equipment and work for extended periods in data center environments, including confined spaces and around high-density racks.

Nice to have

• Experience with high-density GPU servers and rack environments.
• Experience with data center networking, structured cabling, hardware diagnostics, and component replacement.
• Familiarity with Linux and command-line troubleshooting.
• Willingness to undertake domestic and international travel for deployment and commissioning activities.
