GRC Lead

Location: Remote within North America

Salary: $160,000–$230,000 USD per year, plus equity

hirify.global operates a remote-first engineering organization and is building its customer security assurance and compliance function.

What you will do

• Own customer security questionnaires, due diligence reviews, and customer security calls.
• Guide teams through customer security requirements, vendor concerns, compliance gaps, and risk decisions.
• Maintain accurate security responses and supporting evidence across products, configurations, and planned capabilities.
• Own SOC 2 and ISO 27001 programs, including external audits, control effectiveness, and evidence collection.
• Track remediation commitments, assign clear owners and deadlines, and close follow-up actions.
• Build AI-assisted automation and self-service resources that reduce repetitive compliance work.

Requirements

• Hands-on ownership of a compliance program or major audit cycle.
• Experience conducting customer security reviews and communicating with customers about security posture.
• Technical understanding of data flows, access controls, cloud infrastructure, and data storage.
• Ability to evaluate risks, explain tradeoffs, and drive decisions through completion.
• Experience building AI-assisted workflows, simplifying processes, or automating recurring work.
• Strong writing, attention to detail, ownership, and urgency when working with incomplete information.
