Senior Network Engineer – Deployment (APAC)

Location: APAC; Singapore. The role is based in Singapore, involves regular travel to sites and partners across Asia-Pacific, and requires flexibility across European and US time zones.

What you will do

• Deploy, configure, and validate Ethernet and InfiniBand fabrics for large GPU clusters.
• Bring up front-end, storage, management, and WAN edge networks for new APAC sites and expansions.
• Coordinate with carriers, colocation providers, IXPs, vendors, and internal delivery teams on circuits, cross-connects, peering, and build schedules.
• Run network acceptance testing and performance validation before customer handover.
• Troubleshoot routing, switching, optics, and cabling issues during deployment and early operations.
• Improve provisioning and validation automation and create repeatable runbooks and documentation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of network engineering experience in large-scale data centre, cloud, or HPC environments.
• Experience with hyperscalers, major network vendors, or comparable large-scale networks.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of BGP, OSPF, EVPN/VXLAN, ECMP, and Layer 2/Layer 3 data centre design.
• Experience deploying and operating cluster networks, ideally including InfiniBand or RoCE fabrics.
• Practical experience with network automation using Python, Ansible, or similar tools.
• Willingness to travel across Asia-Pacific as needed and work with colleagues across multiple time zones.

Nice to have

• Experience building networks for GPU clusters or AI training environments.
• Knowledge of HPC topologies, 400G/800G optics, SONiC, Cumulus, or other open networking platforms.
• WAN, subsea or long-haul fibre, peering, or DWDM experience.
• Experience launching infrastructure in a new region or market.
• CCNP/CCIE, JNCIP/JNCIE, or NVIDIA networking certifications.
• Mandarin written and verbal communication skills.
