Command Centre Technician

Location: South Melbourne, Victoria, Australia; onsite at the head office five days per week. Working hours are 7:30am–3:30pm, with 1–2 additional weekend on-call days per month onsite after settling into the role.

What you will do

• Monitor secure networked systems supporting the remote road safety camera network.
• Diagnose technical issues and provide troubleshooting guidance to field technicians.
• Use signal-led triage to proactively resolve operational incidents and manage service requests.
• Coordinate planned and remedial maintenance with field teams.
• Conduct remote site health checks and verify image quality compliance.
• Communicate with clients, provide daily updates, and participate in the after-hours on-call roster.

Requirements

• Proven experience diagnosing and resolving technical issues in fast-paced, high-compliance environments.
• Strong knowledge of IT networks, Microsoft Office applications, and service management systems.
• Ability to interpret technical datasheets, follow procedures, and meet KPI and SLA requirements.
• Clear communication, organisation, adaptability, collaboration, and a safety-first approach.

Nice to have

• ITIL certification.
• Exposure to SQL or Python.
