What you will do

• Lead, mentor, recruit, and grow a software engineering team focused on frontend graphics and high-performance backend systems.
• Define the product and technical strategy for single-vehicle introspection tools and fleet-wide analytics platforms.
• Architect browser-performance solutions for complex 3D rendering, time-series data, video streaming, and layered map assets.
• Expand visualization capabilities so autonomy engineers can diagnose edge cases and evaluate fleet performance.
• Collaborate with autonomy, safety, and infrastructure teams to convert debugging workflows into intuitive visualizations.
• Foster a culture of technical excellence, quality, inclusion, and continuous mentorship.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience managing, recruiting, and developing high-performing software engineering teams.
• 7+ years of software development experience with complex, data-intensive web applications or developer tooling.
• Experience pushing browser execution limits through client-side memory management, WebGL, Three.js, WebAssembly, or large-scale data streaming.
• Strong understanding of technical user experience and intuitive interfaces for developer workflows.
• Experience with TypeScript, frontend graphics, and high-performance backend systems in C++.
