What you will do

• Install, modify, repair, and maintain electrical lines, circuits, systems, fixtures, controls, and equipment.
• Install and repair electrical systems, apparatus, and electronic components in machinery and production equipment.
• Troubleshoot and test sophisticated circuitry, controls, safety systems, and electrical test equipment.
• Design circuit layouts, wire test setups, and install strain gauge circuits and recording instruments for test programs.
• Verify electrical test conditions and identify causes of equipment malfunctions.

Requirements

• Seasoned electrician with thorough knowledge of electrical construction, installation, operation, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to work with complex circuitry, controls, interlocks, warning systems, and electrical test conditions.
• Skill using hand tools, power tools, and electrical test equipment.
• Knowledge of electronic components including resistors, capacitors, and transistors.
• Must be able to work a 2-2-3 schedule on either the 6:45 a.m.–7:00 p.m. or 6:45 p.m.–7:00 a.m. shift.
