CAD Technician (Civil 3D)

What you will do

• Provide design and drafting support for underground utility and pavement infrastructure projects.
• Use Civil 3D to draft and annotate construction drawings and exhibits.
• Modify existing construction drawings based on redline mark-ups from senior designers or project managers.
• Produce topographical profiles, alignments, cross sections, surfaces, earthwork volume calculations, and grading plans.
• Prepare quantity take-offs from conceptual drawings and final construction plans using Civil 3D and hand calculations.
• Complete assigned work within budgeted timeframes under the guidance of engineers and senior designers.

Requirements

• Ability to perform routine assignments, resolve issues, and make recommendations.
• Experience or proficiency with Civil 3D for drafting and construction documentation.
• Ability to conduct business professionally and ethically.
• Availability to work overtime and travel overnight.
