Principal, TradFi Settlement & Digital Assets

Location: New York, NY; hybrid/flexible working arrangements

Base salary: $200,000–$250,000 USD annually, plus discretionary bonus and equity incentives.

What you will do

• Partner with DIS leads on product vision, strategy, prioritization, and delivery for custom build engagements.
• Lead specialist work across settlement, clearing, custody, reconciliation, corporate actions, and post-trade flows in TradFi and digital assets.
• Translate institutional and regulatory requirements into clear product specifications and acceptance criteria for engineering.
• Run discovery and requirements sessions with engineers, operations teams, technology leaders, and senior institutional stakeholders.
• Challenge assumptions and pressure-test requirements against real-world TradFi infrastructure and digital-asset rails.
• Partner with architects and engineering leads while aligning client expectations with roadmap and delivery.

Requirements

• Deep hands-on experience with TradFi settlement systems, custody, clearing, reconciliation, and the full institutional trade lifecycle.
• Deep hands-on experience with digital-asset or blockchain infrastructure, including tokenization, on-chain settlement, and digital custody.
• Experience as a Product Owner or Product Lead delivering complex, regulated financial infrastructure.
• Client-facing experience with Tier-1 financial institutions and credibility with both technical and senior stakeholders.
• Ability to turn ambiguous cross-functional requirements into structured specifications and to challenge assumptions when necessary.
• Experience partnering with technical leadership on product vision and strategy.

Nice to have

• Experience at a custodian, clearinghouse, prime broker, post-trade infrastructure provider, digital-asset custodian, or exchange.
• Product management experience in regulated fintech or capital markets.
• Fluency in payments rails and trading systems.
• Experience leading a project that connected a TradFi institution to digital-asset rails.
