Manager, Retail Operations

What you will do

• Manage daily operations for a retail electricity portfolio across utility territories and wholesale power markets.
• Lead the integration of new load contracts, including market registrations, regulatory filings, customer enrollment, scheduling, and load-serving obligations.
• Coordinate with utilities, ISOs/RTOs, customers, service providers, Trading, Origination, Market Operations, Settlements, Finance, Risk, Legal, Regulatory, and Compliance teams.
• Resolve operational issues involving meter data, load discrepancies, EDI transactions, utility requirements, and settlements.
• Maintain procedures, controls, workflows, market-deadline monitoring, and operational data flows that improve accuracy and scalability.
• Support retail supply agreements, long-term contracts, and internal approval materials.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of retail electricity experience in ERCOT and/or PJM load management.
• Strong understanding of wholesale and retail power markets, including load, scheduling, metering, settlements, and market transactions.
• Familiarity with trading desk operations and ISO/RTO market processes.
• Strong communication, relationship-management, initiative, and self-direction skills.
• Experience with EDI transactions, meter data management, energy management systems, or retail energy platforms is preferred.
