Datalink Systems Test Engineer (h/f)

Location: Toulouse Area, France; the role includes travel for business and flight-test activities.

hirify.global develops commercial and military aircraft and operates a transnational flight and integration testing center for avionics and aircraft systems.

What you will do

• Define laboratory and flight-testing strategies for aircraft datalink and air-ground communication systems.
• Coordinate the development and validation of test rigs, simulators, tools, and aircraft instrumentation.
• Design test procedures, including automated and virtual testing where appropriate.
• Execute test campaigns on laboratory rigs and aircraft simulators.
• Define flight-test procedures with flight crews and analyze flight-test results.
• Contribute to advanced datalink solutions such as ATN over SATCOM and IP-based communications for safety services.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or equivalent in systems engineering, telecommunications, or a related discipline.
• Advanced English proficiency is required.
• Strong interest in technical activities and an open-minded, agile approach.
• Knowledge of aircraft datalink and communication systems or protocols, including ACARS, ATN, ARINC 429, or ARINC 619.
• Ability to travel for business and participate in flight-test campaigns.
