Software & Engineering Quality - Early Career (f/m)

What you will do

• Plan, implement, and monitor quality engineering activities within software development and technical project environments.
• Ensure technical requirements are documented, baselined, understood, and covered by project plans and work packages.
• Participate in technical reviews, code quality assessments, software engineering gates, and test readiness reviews.
• Track problem reports and non-conformities through resolution.
• Support the development of verification and validation test plans and test environments.
• Facilitate lessons-learned reviews and support improvement actions across engineering projects.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of practical experience, including internships or work-study programs, in software development or software quality engineering.
• Good understanding of software engineering lifecycles, CI/CD pipelines, software testing, automated testing, verification, and validation.
• Basic knowledge of software architecture and coding best practices.
• Interest in quality management standards such as ISO 9001 and AQAP, or process capability models such as CMMI.
• Autonomous, proactive, curious, and able to communicate effectively with developers, project managers, and quality leaders.
• Fluency in both English and French; security clearance or eligibility for clearance is required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of quality tools, defect tracking systems such as Jira, and audit practices.
