Electrical Engineering Internship 2027

Location: Reading Innovation Centre, Reading, United Kingdom; on-site internship with UK right-to-work required

Procter & Gamble's Reading Innovation Centre is a European research and development hub supporting consumer products including Gillette, Venus, Oral-B, Vicks and Olay.

What you will do

• Work on live electrical engineering projects within the Process & Engineering department.
• Research, test and implement new technologies for products and manufacturing equipment.
• Collaborate with vendors to design, develop and deliver equipment to global partners.
• Participate in design reviews and expand concepts into consumer products and packaging.
• Improve equipment efficiency and support more sustainable manufacturing processes.
• Work on projects such as robotic pick-and-place calibration and electrical panel design.

Requirements

• Currently studying Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics Engineering, Automation Engineering or Computer Science/Engineering, with graduation expected in 2028.
• Demonstrated leadership, initiative and interest in innovation and continuous improvement.
• Ability to drive real-world projects through to completion.
• Strong verbal and written English skills.
• Must have independent right to work in the UK for the full internship duration without sponsorship from P&G.
• Right-to-work permission must cover 5 July 2027 to 24 September 2027 for at least 37.5 hours per week.
