Location: Manchester, UK (Hybrid)
Salary: £55,000–£70,000 per year plus equity

Stride is building a preventative health membership that combines multi-omic health profiles, including DNA, microbiome, blood biomarkers, epigenetics, and oral health, with personalised guidance and coaching.
What you will do
- Own product design for the member experience across app and web surfaces, from early concepts through to shipped experiences.
- Design onboarding, results, protocols, coaching, and community experiences.
- Transform complex biomarker and trend data into clear, intuitive visualisations.
- Design the biological-age platform, including longitudinal trends, comparisons, and a novel scoring model.
- Run lightweight user research and testing to validate design decisions.
- Build and evolve a design system while partnering closely with product, engineering, clinical, scientific, marketing, and brand teams.
Requirements
- Several years of experience designing complex digital products, ideally consumer-facing products owned end to end.
- Strong ability to simplify dense data and complicated processes into intuitive experiences.
- Strong craft across research, user flows, and production-ready design.
- Fluency with AI tools for research synthesis, prototyping, and exploration.
- Practical experience collaborating with engineering and evaluating technical feasibility.
- Comfort working in ambiguity within a small, fast-moving team.
Nice to have
- Experience in health, wellness, fitness, diagnostics, or other data-heavy products.
- Experience designing dashboards, visualisations, or subscription products.
- Experience building a design system from scratch or being an early or first designer at a startup.
