What you will do
- Assist with automated recipe adjustment workflows using photoluminescence and X-ray diffraction metrology outputs.
- Perform engineering measurements, defect analysis, photoluminescence, and X-ray diffraction characterization of epitaxial layers.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to draft and update MOCVD standard operating procedures.
- Apply statistical methods to correlate metrology data with reactor performance.
- Identify process trends affecting yield, wafer uniformity, stability, and control.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Master’s or PhD program in semiconductor, electrical, optical, physical, or a related field.
- Foundational knowledge of relevant concepts, tools, or methods.
- Experience applying coursework through projects, laboratory work, research, or related experience.
- Available for the full internship period.
- Strong technical writing skills.
Nice to have
- Understanding of physics and engineering fundamentals.
- Familiarity with semiconductor epitaxy or characterization techniques such as MBE, MOCVD, XRD, PL, or SEM.
