What you will do

• Design and implement neuromorphic vision systems, including pixel operation theory, processing algorithms, and hardware components.
• Develop functional models capable of learning, storing, and detecting patterns.
• Collaborate with researchers across neuroscience, engineering, and computer science.
• Contribute to demonstrator applications that show the practical impact of the research.
• Analyze data and contribute to publications, seminars, conferences, and public engagement.
• Identify new research directions and prepare proposals for independent and collaborative projects.

Requirements

• Experience relevant to neuromorphic vision systems and their theoretical, algorithmic, and hardware aspects.
• Ability to contribute to interdisciplinary research across neuroscience, engineering, and computer science.
• Capability to develop functional learning, storage, and pattern-detection models.
• Ability to analyze research data and communicate findings through publications and presentations.
• Ability to work in or regularly attend the Manchester-based role under the applicable hybrid arrangement.
