Founding Research Scientist (Physical AI)

Location: London, 5 days onsite

Salary: Up to £160,000 plus equity

What you will do

• Set the research roadmap as the first Research Scientist.
• Develop models that interact with the physical world and real robots.
• Run rapid train, evaluate, and iterate experiments.
• Work toward experiments reaching public leaderboards within weeks.
• Publish research and build an independent research reputation.

Requirements

• PhD, postdoctoral, or industry research experience.
• Exceptional technical ability and strong experimental skills.
• Excitement about applying models to physical-world interaction.
• Willingness to work onsite in London five days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with Physical AI, robotics, robot learning, vision-language-action models, world models, machine learning, or reinforcement learning.
