Senior Specialist Solutions Architect - AI & ML Engineer

Location: Tel Aviv area, Israel, within commuting distance of the Databricks office in Herzliya

What you will do

• Architect production-grade ML and AI workloads, including agents, end-to-end ML pipelines, training and inference optimization, cloud integrations, and MLOps.
• Design enterprise GenAI solutions using RAG architectures, tool-calling and multi-agent systems, guardrails, natural-language querying, evaluation, observability, and monitoring.
• Build, scale, optimize, and productionize customer AI workloads across multiple domains.
• Provide advanced technical guidance to Solution Architects across feature engineering, training, tracking, serving, and model monitoring.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to represent customer needs and influence the AI product roadmap.

Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on industry experience in machine learning.
• Experience building and maintaining production-grade cloud infrastructure for ML applications, including drift monitoring, or equivalent AI engineering experience.
• Experience with LLMs and agentic systems, including vector databases, LLM fine-tuning, AI guardrails, and deployment with Hugging Face, LangChain, or OpenAI.
• Experience with data engineering or a strong understanding of data engineering concepts.
• Ability to communicate and teach technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work in the Tel Aviv area within commuting distance of the Herzliya office.

Nice to have

• 5+ years of customer-facing experience in a pre-sales or post-sales role.
• Experience mentoring others and contributing to an ML subject-matter-expert community.
