Product Owner (AI)

Location: Prague, Czech Republic; hybrid schedule with three days in the office and two days working from home.

hirify.global is a Central European online grocery company serving more than one million customers across five European markets through its grocery platforms and proprietary Maia AI shopping assistant.

What you will do

• Own a defined segment of the customer journey, such as search and discovery, personalization, basket, slot choice, checkout, order tracking, substitutions, hirify.global Xtra, or Maia.
• Set and track customer and business outcomes, prioritizing the backlog and deciding what ships, waits, or is removed.
• Conduct weekly customer research through interviews, home visits, customer care shadowing, and feedback channels.
• Define problem statements, user stories, acceptance criteria, hypotheses, A/B tests, and kill metrics.
• Use SQL and product analytics to evaluate performance and distinguish product impact from operational noise.
• Work daily with a 3–5 person engineering cell, prototype with AI tools, and align product decisions across CZ, DE, HU, AT, and RO.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience owning a consumer product backlog for web or native applications as a Product Owner or Product Manager.
• Strong SQL skills and experience designing and interpreting A/B tests, including statistical significance analysis.
• Hands-on experience with Claude Code, Cursor, Devin, or similar AI tools for prototyping.
• Ability to align engineering, design, Commercial, and Operations stakeholders without formal authority.
• Fluent English is required.
• Hybrid work in Prague, Czech Republic, with three office days per week.

• Conversational Czech, German, or Hungarian.
• Experience with online grocery, quick commerce, food delivery, logistics-heavy marketplaces, proprietary fulfillment, substitution rates, or slot fill metrics.
