What you will do
- Listen to Tamil audio clips and evaluate fluency and native-level quality.
- Assess pronunciation, intonation, linguistic authenticity, and natural speech patterns.
- Identify subtle linguistic differences and inconsistencies.
- Write clear feedback and detailed evaluation justifications in English.
- Collaborate with project teams to clarify language-related requirements.
- Complete audio evaluation tasks accurately and within deadlines.
Requirements
- Native-level spoken and written Tamil proficiency
- B2+ English proficiency, particularly for written communication
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to explain nuanced linguistic observations clearly.
Nice to have
- Background in linguistics, phonetics, voice, music, audio engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with audio analysis, transcription, or linguistic assessment.
- Experience in teaching, media, or communications.
- Strong understanding of Tamil pronunciation, intonation, and natural speech patterns.
