What you will do

  • Carry out engine calibration activities on engine test beds.
  • Investigate and resolve ECU-related issues during internal combustion engine testing.
  • Adapt calibration data to support smooth engine operation during testing.
  • Coordinate the development and implementation of measures that prevent ECU-related issues.
  • Improve key performance indicators for engine operation on test beds.

Requirements

  • Degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, physics, or a comparable field.
  • Genuine interest in internal combustion engines and knowledge of automotive electronics.
  • Knowledge of automotive communication systems such as CAN.
  • Ability to investigate root causes, analyze data, and formally present and report testing results.
  • Strong coordination, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Good knowledge of English.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of German.
