Mid DevOps Engineer (GCP)

Location: Vilnius, Lithuania; hybrid work with 3 office days and 2 work-from-home days, plus WFA options.

What you will do

• Operate and troubleshoot GKE and Kubernetes clusters, including node health, networking, and application deployments.
• Provision and maintain infrastructure with Terraform, Terragrunt, and Ansible across multiple environments.
• Build and improve Helm charts, Argo CD ApplicationSets, and GitHub Actions delivery workflows.
• Investigate incidents using logs, metrics, and health checks, while applying validated changes with rollback plans.
• Secure access to GCP services, secrets, and container registries.
• Collaborate with developers to improve system stability and performance.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience operating Kubernetes workloads and large-scale, multi-cluster systems.
• Strong Linux, TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and TLS fundamentals.
• Practical Terraform and Ansible experience, including infrastructure plan reviews and environment changes.
• Proficiency with Helm, Git-based delivery, Docker container build pipelines, Bash, and Python scripting.
• Working knowledge of GCP, especially GKE, IAM, and Secret Manager, with a security-conscious approach to credentials.
• Clear communication during code reviews and incidents, with the ability to investigate unfamiliar systems and explain technical trade-offs.

Nice to have

• Experience with web-scraping environments.
• Experience with Cloudflare, HAProxy, Argo CD, Linkerd, Redis, PostgreSQL, Datadog, or VictoriaMetrics.
• Familiarity with Python, Node.js, Rust, or Go.
