Infrastructure and Enterprise Engineer II (AI Ops)

Salary: Kč1,077,000–Kč1,507,500 total cash annually, with potential pay up to Kč1,723,000 based on sustained performance.

What you will do

• Operate, monitor, and optimize AI-driven production systems and related services against reliability, availability, performance, and SLA objectives.
• Build and maintain automation, tooling, runbooks, deployment processes, change management, incident response, and recovery workflows.
• Support model-serving infrastructure, APIs, background processing, and data pipelines in collaboration with software engineering, platform, data, ML, and product teams.
• Apply system design, API design, data modeling, observability, resilience, and maintainability practices to AI-related services.
• Integrate and operate AI/ML-enabled solutions with appropriate quality, compliance, security controls, monitoring, and guardrails.
• Use metrics, logs, and data-driven analysis to reduce operational toil and improve scalability and resilience across multiple domains.

Requirements

• Technical degree or equivalent practical experience in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related field.
• Professional experience supporting production services or platforms, including incident handling and on-call participation.
• Strong background in DevOps, SRE, or automation-focused operations, including infrastructure as code.
• Solid scripting or programming skills, preferably Python.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure with required AWS experience.
• Practical production exposure to AI-driven systems, tools, or workflows such as model-serving platforms, AI-enabled features, or automated decisioning systems.

Nice to have

• Experience operating AI or ML workloads at scale, including model deployment, versioning, rollout strategies, and performance monitoring.
• Experience designing operational architectures with observability, resilience patterns, and capacity planning.
• Experience driving operational excellence for complex, business-critical systems through post-incident reviews, automation, and reliability improvements.
• Experience collaborating with engineering and data/ML teams on system design, APIs, and data models.
