Senior Azure DevOps Engineer (German Speaking)

Location: Work from the European Union region with a valid work permit; onsite availability in Zurich for up to 40% of the time. Listed locations include Bulgaria, Czechia, Hungary, Poland, and Romania.

What you will do

• Design, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes in Microsoft Azure.
• Manage cloud infrastructure with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform.
• Work with containerization and orchestration technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Maintain monitoring, logging, and observability solutions using Grafana, Checkmk, or equivalent tools.
• Integrate security checks into CI/CD pipelines and apply AI tools to code generation, automation, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and contribute to Agile delivery using SAFe, Scrum, or similar frameworks.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional DevOps Engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, CI/CD, automation, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Grafana and Checkmk, or equivalent solutions.
• Experience using AI tools in DevOps work and integrating security checks into CI/CD pipelines.
• German at C1 level or native proficiency, including the ability to understand Swiss German; English at B2 level or higher.
• Work from the European Union region, hold a work permit, and be available to work onsite in Zurich for up to 40% of the time.

• Experience in public-sector or public-company environments.
• Structured GenAI use within the SDLC, including workflows, prompt patterns, or tool integrations.
• Interest in AI-driven practices such as agent-based workflows, automation patterns, and AI-augmented development.
