Field Service Engineers - South East (Recycling Technology)

Location: Poringland, Norwich, UK, with field-based travel across London and the South East

Salary: GBP 32,000–GBP 37,000 per year

What you will do

• Install, commission, maintain, and repair hirify.global reverse vending machines at customer sites.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and perform preventative and reactive maintenance.
• Support the rollout of new recycling technology across the UK.
• Build professional relationships with customers and site contacts while delivering reliable service.
• Record service activities, machine status, and updates in digital systems.
• Travel throughout the assigned region, including occasional overnight stays, and support weekend work when required.

Requirements

• Foundation in electromechanical systems and an interest in analysing, testing, and repairing complex equipment.
• Curious, solution-oriented approach with strong attention to detail.
• Clear communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a field-based role.
• Flexibility to travel, manage a personal schedule, and work approved overtime or weekends.
• Full UK driving licence required.
