Sales Finance Intern

Location: Amsterdam, hybrid, with occasional home working aligned with the team. EU working rights are required; eligibility is based on EU citizenship or studying in the Netherlands.

Allowance: €625 per month for 40 hours per week and full reimbursement of travel expenses.

hirify.global is an international food and consumer goods company offering an internship within its Benelux commercial finance business.

What you will do

• Support weekly and monthly trade performance reviews, financial controls, and budget management with Sales teams and senior leadership.
• Assist with financial analyses and business cases for strategic accounts in the Benelux business.
• Develop and maintain financial models to forecast sales, revenue, and profitability.
• Analyze sales trends and identify opportunities to improve performance and profitability.
• Evaluate promotions, pricing strategies, digital shelf performance, and assortment.
• Prepare insights and recommendations for customer-specific go-to-market decisions.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, including basic financial modeling and data analysis.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn sales, revenue, and profitability data into actionable insights.
• Collaborative communication and stakeholder management skills, including confidence working with senior management.
• Strong English proficiency and EU working rights are required.

Nice to have

• Dutch language skills.
• Knowledge of Power BI.
