TL;DR
Commercial Finance Manager_BU (Commercial Finance): Leading budgeting, forecasting, reporting, financial modelling and investment analysis for Cyncly’s Brazil business with an accent on commercial performance, profitability and business partnering. Focus on translating operational data into recommendations, developing business cases, and leading the local finance team.

Location: Brazil; 100% remote, or hybrid for residents of Serra Gaúcha or the Greater São Paulo area

What you will do

  • Lead the commercial finance agenda for the Brazil business and partner with senior commercial and operational leaders.
  • Own budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning cycles.
  • Analyze revenue, margins, operating expenses, cash flow and overall business performance.
  • Identify risks and opportunities, recommend corrective actions, and support sustainable growth and profitability.
  • Lead monthly and quarterly performance reviews and prepare recommendations for local and regional stakeholders.
  • Develop business cases for strategic initiatives, investments, pricing and resource allocation while improving reporting through automation and standardization.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in FP&A, commercial finance or business partnering within a complex or multinational organization.
  • Experience managing and developing finance professionals.
  • Strong budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and management reporting skills.
  • Commercial mindset, strong analytical judgment, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills in Portuguese and English.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related field; advanced Excel and experience with ERP, planning or business-intelligence tools.

Nice to have

  • Experience in software, technology, SaaS or another recurring-revenue business.
  • Responsibility for a business unit or regional P&L.
  • Experience with international or matrixed teams.
  • Knowledge of IFRS and Brazilian accounting and tax requirements.
  • Experience improving FP&A systems, dashboards or automated reporting; MBA, postgraduate qualification or finance certification.
