Finance Production Assistant (Actuarial Modelling)

Location: Bristol, United Kingdom; hybrid working with at least two days per week or 40% of time in the office

Salary: £30,201–£31,790 per year

What you will do

• Run actuarial production processes supporting Finance and financial reporting activities.
• Prepare data and model inputs, run production systems using Prophet and R, and deliver high-quality outputs.
• Support valuations, movement analysis, and sensitivity analysis.
• Investigate issues, identify root causes, and implement effective resolutions.
• Modernise and automate existing processes to improve efficiency, controls, and resilience.
• Collaborate with colleagues across Finance, Actuarial, and Technology to improve end-to-end delivery.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, finance operations, data processes, controls, governance, continuous improvement, or transformation.
• Practical and analytical experience working with data, solving problems, and investigating issues.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn new systems, processes, and technical concepts.
• Collaborative working style and confidence working across different teams.
• Commitment to accurate, high-quality outcomes and ownership of improvements.
• Ability to work in the Bristol office at least two days per week or 40% of working time.

• Previous actuarial experience.
