Senior Cloud Security Engineer (GCP)

What you will do

• Provide technical guidance on cloud security architecture, configuration management, and environment design.
• Standardize security across environments using automation, configuration management, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Guide engineering, product, and leadership stakeholders on security strategy and cloud risk mitigation.
• Drive security improvements in GCP, including IAM, least-privilege access, and role-based access control.
• Identify cloud vulnerabilities, recommend mitigations, and support internal and external security audits.
• Embed security assessments, testing, training, and reviews into development and CI/CD workflows.

Requirements

• Experience managing cloud security programs, IAM, and cloud-native security solutions such as firewalls.
• Expert knowledge of cloud infrastructure components, preferably GCP.
• Experience auditing and supporting audits of cloud security controls.
• Experience with infrastructure vulnerability testing tools, Heroku, and Terraform.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, communicate risks clearly, and operate with urgency in a fast-paced environment.
