Contractor Manager (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

hirify.global operates a controlled semiconductor manufacturing site requiring safe, compliant and effective contractor management.

What you will do

• Manage the full contractor lifecycle, including pre-qualification, onboarding, induction, approval, supervision and offboarding.
• Maintain contractor documentation, including RAMS, permits, insurance, training records and performance reviews.
• Coordinate contractor access, work areas, isolations, deliveries, waste removal and planned interruptions across production, cleanrooms, laboratories, offices and site services.
• Review RAMS, verify permits and control compliance with health, safety, environmental and site requirements.
• Conduct audits, inspections and incident investigations, assigning and closing corrective actions.
• Support maintenance, facilities, capital projects and infrastructure upgrades while monitoring scope, cost, quality, schedule and contractor performance.

Requirements

• Experience managing contractors in manufacturing, engineering, facilities, construction, pharmaceutical, semiconductor or another controlled environment.
• Good knowledge of contractor management, RAMS, permits and site safety requirements.
• Experience coordinating multiple contractors in a live operational environment.
• Strong health, safety and environmental awareness, with the confidence to challenge unsafe or non-compliant behaviour.
• Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Competence with Microsoft Office and contractor-management or reporting systems.

Nice to have

• NEBOSH General Certificate, IOSH Managing Safely or an equivalent safety qualification.
• Construction or facilities-management qualification, SMSTS, SSSTS or equivalent training.
• Experience with cleanrooms, laboratories, critical utilities, semiconductor manufacturing, permit-to-work systems, isolations, production interruptions, capital projects or maintenance programmes.
