Senior Associate, Fund Accounting

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; hybrid working

What you will do

• Process fund transactions in the accounting system and assess their impact on fund NAV.
• Prepare Net Asset Value packages and supporting schedules for senior review.
• Assist with audits and prepare or review financial statements.
• Meet client deliverables and queries in line with agreed SLAs.
• Follow SOC1 operational controls and maintain completed checklists.
• Support timely fee billing and collection, improve procedures, and complete ad hoc tasks.

Requirements

• Post-secondary education in finance or accounting.
• At least 2 years of experience in fund administration, investment management, or fund auditing.
• Completion of or interest in a professional accounting designation such as CA, CGA, CMA, ACCA, ICAEW, or CFA is an asset but not required.
• Strong accuracy, efficiency, operational control, and client service focus.
