TL;DR
Full Stack Engineer (Fintech) (TypeScript/NestJS/Next.js): Building and scaling end-to-end lending platform features across backend, frontend, databases, queues, and partner integrations with an accent on cloud-native delivery and AI coding agents. Focus on designing reliable asynchronous systems, shipping observable production changes, and running AWS/Kubernetes infrastructure while supporting rapid fintech growth.
Location: Hybrid in Amsterdam, Netherlands, with three days per week in the office. Two weeks per year of remote work from abroad are available.
Salary: €6,358–€6,930 per month based on 40 hours per week.

What you will do
- Build end-to-end lending platform features across backend, frontend, databases, and queues using TypeScript, NestJS, Next.js, Postgres, Redis, SNS, and SQS.
- Develop and maintain integrations with credit bureaus, payment providers, HubSpot, Mambu, and internal services.
- Collaborate with product, design, business, and other departments to define and deliver customer-journey improvements.
- Experiment with AI coding agents and improve the safety and speed of software development.
- Maintain code quality through tests, service contracts, alerts, code reviews, feature flags, and A/B testing.
- Run and support production systems on AWS and Kubernetes using Terraform, GitLab CI, Grafana, Sentry, and PostHog.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on full stack engineering experience in any programming language, including real production ownership.
- Strong experience with database modelling, live schema migrations, query performance, queues, retries, and idempotency.
- Active interest in and practical experimentation with AI coding agents and agentic workflows.
- Familiarity with cloud-native technologies, containers, orchestration, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code.
- Analytical, collaborative approach with the ability to clarify vague ideas, involve stakeholders early, and provide effective code reviews.
