Senior Firmware Engineer (SSD)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded firmware modules for SSD products.
• Implement firmware features across the Flash Translation Layer, NVMe/SATA host interfaces, and manufacturing test tools.
• Debug firmware issues, execute unit tests, and analyze system logs to identify root causes.
• Create and maintain firmware design, implementation, and testing documentation.
• Build expertise in PCIe/NVMe protocols, NAND flash characteristics, and hardware-software integration.
• Collaborate with software and validation teams on automated testing and bug reproduction.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electronic engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of embedded software or firmware development experience.
• Deep proficiency in embedded C/C++ programming in resource-constrained environments.
• Experience with ARM architecture, computer architecture, and embedded systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive, collaborative approach.
• Must be based in Taiwan.
