Location: Bogotá, Colombia; the role may be based in Colombia, Mexico, or Brazil.

What you will do

  • Co-lead the regional Medical Affairs strategy in alignment with the IBVT and global teams.
  • Contribute LATAM needs and gaps to the worldwide medical affairs strategy.
  • Develop regional initiatives and contribute to global IEGP activities for assigned molecules.
  • Execute data-generation activities as the responsible study physician or specialist in accordance with current SOPs.
  • Engage external stakeholders and help shape the environment for the oncology therapeutic area.
  • Develop brand and business strategy with the IBVT and support science- and data-driven decisions.

Requirements

  • Deep scientific knowledge and understanding of healthcare, pharmaceutical markets, and medical compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of drug development, clinical epidemiology, randomized controlled trials, real-world evidence, Phase 4 studies, and publication plans.
  • 8–10 years of professional experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry, including at least 3 years in a relevant Medical Affairs area.
  • Experience developing and executing medical strategies, with strong communication, presentation, negotiation, coaching, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in complex matrix environments and collaborate with teams outside Medical Affairs.
  • Fluent English is mandatory.
