TL;DR
Infrastructure Security Engineer (Cloud Security): Designing and maintaining secure cloud, hybrid, and multi-cloud infrastructure with an accent on Kubernetes, container security, CI/CD protection, and infrastructure automation. Focus on building security operations tooling, maintaining SIEM data pipelines, responding to cloud security incidents, and securing AI/ML workloads.
Location: Tokyo, Japan; candidates must be located in Tokyo or willing to relocate

What you will do
- Design secure container standards and automation for developer workflows.
- Maintain Kubernetes security and integrate security practices into CI/CD pipelines.
- Secure CI/CD pipelines and maintain code-scanning platforms.
- Monitor and respond to security events across cloud and hybrid environments.
- Build and maintain security operations infrastructure using Python, Terraform, and configuration management tools such as Puppet.
- Maintain SIEM data pipelines, dashboards, alerts, cloud security policies, standards, and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in cloud security, infrastructure security, or related roles.
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles, compliance frameworks, and security best practices.
- Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure security services and with securing hybrid AWS/on-premises or multi-cloud environments, including IAM.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation, containerization security, network security, and scripting with Python or Bash.
- Strong ownership, critical-thinking, communication, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
Nice to have
- Security certifications such as CCSP, CSSK, or AWS Security Specialty.
- Deep Kubernetes and container-security expertise, multi-cloud security experience, and GitHub Actions experience.
- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Karma, Wazuh, or other observability and SIEM platforms.
- Experience securing AI/ML workloads, building custom cloud-security tools, or contributing to open-source security projects.
- Experience with regulated financial platforms such as banking, money transmission, or P2P payments.
