TL;DR
Supervisor Accounting (Financial Accounting/SAP): Ensuring accurate divisional and regional financial statements through month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, reporting, and audit support with an accent on general ledger integrity, accrual accounting, and technical accounting analysis. Focus on supervising close processes, developing ad hoc reports, researching unusual accounting items, and coordinating with shared-services functions.

What you will do
- Supervise accurate financial and statistical month-end close processes with ALABS shared services.
- Review general ledger reconciliations, journal entries, sales accruals, COS and OPEX accruals, and localized tax accounting topics.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of divisional and regional financial statements and related reporting.
- Support financial reporting on unusual items, share plans, asset disposals, settlements, restructuring, and other special topics.
- Prepare and communicate ad hoc accounting reports and analyses for divisional, regional, corporate, and audit stakeholders.
- Build effective relationships across the organization while managing multiple priorities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
- At least four years of financial reporting or financial accounting experience.
- Strong leadership, team management, people development, analytical, and communication skills.
- Advanced experience with SAP software and strong project management skills.
- Ability to support divisional, local, and corporate management while managing multiple priorities.
Nice to have
- CPA and/or MBA in Finance or Accounting.
- Public accounting experience and exposure to medium-to-large companies.
- At least three years of supervisory accounting and financial reporting experience.
