Business Intern (Summer 2027)

Location: Hybrid role based in Chattanooga, TN; Portland, ME; or Columbia, SC. The program starts in early June 2027 and lasts 10–12 weeks. Availability for 40 hours per week during regular business hours is required.

What you will do

• Complete meaningful project work within a corporate function such as Finance, Communications, Human Resources, or Underwriting.
• Work on collaborative projects while owning individual assignments with business impact.
• Participate in cross-functional business case challenges addressing real business needs.
• Attend weekly professional development and information sessions.
• Present business case outcomes to senior business leaders at the end of the program.
• Participate in networking, community service, employee network, and inclusion and diversity activities.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college degree program or a Spring 2027 graduate.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and on-campus involvement.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, strategic, and tactical problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and follow the hybrid work policy.
