Forward Deployed Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Deploy hirify.global systems and products into customer cloud environments using infrastructure as code and deployment pipelines.
• Build connectors and tools for lakehouse tables, internal APIs, and EHR data over FHIR.
• Translate customer procedures, definitions, and business logic into agent workflows and playbooks.
• Define evaluations and launch criteria, test workflows against expert-trusted answers, and take validated solutions into production.
• Own deployments from discovery and scoping through implementation, monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
• Convert successful custom implementations into reusable connectors, playbooks, and platform features while collaborating with product, engineering, leadership, and customer security teams.

Requirements

• Experience building scalable agentic systems for long-horizon, multi-step tasks and designing evaluation frameworks for reliability.
• Experience with LLM APIs, tool calling, MCP or similar protocols, prompt design, workflow design, and evaluations.
• Hands-on fluency with coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor, with a track record of shipping high-quality code quickly.
• Experience with major cloud providers, cloud infrastructure, data lakehouses, and data warehouses.
• Clear communication with technical and non-technical audiences and the ability to scope ambiguous requests into shippable work.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites and work with sensitive patient data in a HIPAA-regulated environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with EHR, claims, OMOP, or FHIR data.
• Experience working under HIPAA or in another highly regulated deployment environment.
• Forward-deployed, solutions, or implementation engineering experience, ideally at a startup.
• Experience with containers and sandboxing.
