Manufacturing Test Technician Specialist

Location: Secaucus, New Jersey, United States

Base salary: $28.50 per hour

What you will do

• Support technicians in debugging and troubleshooting complex server- and rack-level test failures.
• Escalate test interruptions and technical blockers to engineering and support teams through JIRA and Microsoft Teams.
• Monitor engineering activity in test labs and track product and equipment utilization.
• Validate test flows for new products entering production processes.
• Track cycle time, retries, yields, product age, and other test-process performance metrics.
• Provide individual, group, and virtual training and technical assistance to test technicians.

Requirements

• Ability to work in Secaucus, New Jersey, United States.
• At least 2 years of related experience with computer or server hardware.
• Associate degree in IT, technical-school certification, or equivalent related work experience.
• Experience configuring Microsoft Vista, Windows 7, Windows Server, and Microsoft Office, plus basic Linux knowledge.
• Strong technical troubleshooting, communication, teamwork, and escalation skills.
• Some positions may require U.S. citizenship, permanent residency, refugee or asylee status, or eligibility for an export-control license or exception.

Nice to have

• CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification.
• Four or more years of PC hardware or networking experience.
