Robotics Engineering Manager (Robotics Planning & Data Pipeline)

Location: Onsite five days a week at the Mossville, Illinois or Irving, Texas office; up to 10% travel required. Domestic relocation assistance is available. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $159,120.00–$238,680.00 per year.

What you will do

• Lead the Robotics Planning and Data Pipeline engineering teams across strategy, roadmap, execution, and lifecycle management.
• Oversee development of reusable autonomy planning platforms, algorithms, APIs, validation frameworks, and capabilities for autonomous machines.
• Guide data infrastructure development, including scalable storage and compute platforms, data management, annotation workflows, MLOps capabilities, and automation tools.
• Manage engineering staff, support professional development, and build a culture of accountability, quality, safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor and improve product and process performance, quality, cost-effectiveness, and delivery reliability.
• Communicate priorities and roadmaps with engineering managers, senior leadership, and stakeholders across the company.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD in robotics, electrical, mechanical, or computer engineering, or computer science.
• Extensive experience leading technical engineering teams.
• Experience with product development lifecycle projects and translating strategic goals into execution.
• Leadership experience in the autonomous systems or robotics industry, with knowledge of technical domains and customer challenges.
• Experience managing people, resolving performance and workplace conflict issues, and collaborating across countries and cultures.
• Knowledge of the construction or mining industry.
