What you will do
- Build and maintain backend services, REST APIs, and internal tools supporting an email threat detection engine.
- Develop data-processing utilities and automation scripts.
- Write clean, tested, and documented Python code.
- Debug and resolve issues in existing systems.
- Participate in code reviews and collaborate with engineers and data scientists.
- Support service deployment and monitoring in AWS.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong programming fundamentals in Python.
- Familiarity with data structures, algorithms, REST APIs, and Git.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and structured data.
- Strong communication skills, openness to feedback, and willingness to learn.
