Data Science Analyst (Data Science/Analytics): Developing statistically effective algorithms and applying machine learning, hypothesis testing, and data mining to solve high-dimensional business problems with an accent on predictive modeling, text mining, and recommender systems. Focus on analyzing emerging datasets, integrating analytical solutions with client needs, and communicating data-driven recommendations.
Location: Ciudad Autonoma de Buenos Aires, Argentina. Hybrid work combines working from home with on-site presence at client locations or offices for most of the week. Client-facing work may require travel as needed.

What you will do
- Develop efficient statistical algorithms for high-dimensional problems.
- Apply hypothesis testing, machine learning, retrieval, and data-mining techniques to identify trends and analyze information.
- Create figures and analytical outputs to support recommendations and solutions.
- Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to integrate and communicate analytical work.
- Assess emerging datasets and technologies affecting the analytics platform.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong academic performance with coursework focused on analysis and quantitative skills.
- Knowledge of big data, advanced analytics, and algorithms such as text mining, social listening, recommender systems, and predictive modeling.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Java, Python, or R.
- Experience with the Hadoop ecosystem, Amazon Web Services, or database systems.
- Fluency in English and the ability to obtain or hold work authorization for Argentina are required.
