Data Science - Senior Analyst (Machine Learning): Developing statistically effective algorithms and advanced analytics solutions for complex business challenges with an accent on machine learning, big data, and quantitative analysis. Focus on designing high-dimensionality models, evaluating emerging datasets and technologies, building scalable analytical assets, and mentoring data science colleagues.
Location: Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires, Argentina. Hybrid working model with work from home and on-site presence at client or offices for most of the week. Client-facing work may require travel.

What you will do
- Develop efficient statistical algorithms for high-dimensionality problems.
- Apply hypothesis testing, machine learning, retrieval processes, statistical techniques, and data mining to identify trends and generate analysis.
- Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to integrate and communicate analytical solutions.
- Assess emerging datasets and technologies affecting the analytical platform.
- Develop scalable assets and accelerators and support research and publication activities.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to Associate team members.
Requirements
- PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field, or a master’s degree with 3–5 years of relevant post-collegiate experience.
- Strong academic performance with an emphasis on analytical and quantitative coursework.
- Knowledge of big data, advanced analytics, algorithms, text mining, social listening, recommender systems, or predictive modeling.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Java, Python, or R, and experience with Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, or database systems.
- Proficiency in agile project planning and project management, plus prior leadership experience.
- Fluency in English and work authorization for Argentina or the ability to obtain it are required.
