Co-op, R&D Electrical Engineering (Medical Devices)

Location: Hybrid in Acton, Massachusetts, United States

Annual base salary: $25.00–$34.00. The role may also be eligible for incentive compensation.

hirify.global is a medical device company developing the OmniPod insulin management platform and other wearable drug-delivery technologies.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and document test fixtures and prototype circuit boards.
• Research practical applications of new technologies and assist with rapid prototyping of circuit board assemblies.
• Perform verification testing using written test protocols.
• Enter and analyze data and summarize results in test reports.
• Use oscilloscopes, power supplies, and soldering equipment for surface-mount components.

Requirements

• Must be pursuing a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Physics, with at least 2–3 years completed.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-based visa sponsorship.
• Strong written, verbal, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work methodically, independently, flexibly, and professionally in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of Cadence OrCAD, MATLAB, or Ansys HFSS.
• Experience with Bluetooth Low Energy.
