Manager Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ)

What you will do

• Lead Safety, Health and Environment activities, including risk assessments, inspections, incident investigations, RI&E requirements, and EHS procedures.
• Drive environmental and sustainability initiatives covering pollution prevention, waste and energy reduction, EED, ISO 14001, ESG, and CSRD activities.
• Manage Quality activities, including ISO and internal standards, audits, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and inspection documentation.
• Oversee laboratory equipment, testing, and recipe and item setup for inks, make-ups, and cleaners.
• Lead and develop three Quality professionals, mentor production and warehouse teams, and coordinate mandatory safety training.
• Support the Management Team with crisis management, business continuity, the VGWM committee, stakeholder coordination, and temporary cover for the Production Manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of SHEQ, EHS, or Quality experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Experience implementing EHS programs, conducting audits and risk assessments, and managing regulatory compliance.
• Strong knowledge of EHS regulations, quality management systems, and ISO standards.
• Experience with management systems and ATEX; familiarity with Cority or Gensuite is highly desirable.
• Fluency in English and Dutch is required.

Nice to have

• Experience in printing, coding and packaging, chemical, or food industries.
• Experience with digital EHS platforms such as Cority or Gensuite.
