Postdoctoral Research Fellow (Cancer Biology)

What you will do

• Conduct basic and translational research in epithelial biology, cell division, immune interactions, and hereditary or pediatric cancer.
• Design and execute research plans and perform data analysis.
• Study BRCA1-associated pathways, spindle orientation, epithelial cell fate, and tissue architecture.
• Develop and apply patient-derived, in vivo, and ex vivo cancer models.
• Write manuscripts and grant applications and present findings at internal and external meetings.
• Mentor junior trainees in the laboratory.

Requirements

• PhD in Cell Biology, Cancer Biology, Developmental Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
• Strong expertise in epithelial or organoid biology, epithelial–immune interactions, or cell division, mitosis, and spindle dynamics.
• First-author publications in high-impact journals.
• Experience with live-cell imaging or advanced microscopy, mouse or genetically engineered models, primary cell culture or organoids, or molecular perturbation such as CRISPR or RNAi.
• Ability to work independently, demonstrate creativity, and lead research projects.

Nice to have

• Background in epithelial–immune interactions, epithelial polarity, or tissue architecture.
• Experience with translational cancer modeling or precision oncology.
