Board Certified Family Medicine Physician (Peer Reviews)

Location: Fully remote; must be actively practicing in Maryland. The role requires an active, unrestricted U.S. license or certification.

Salary: $750–$2,000 per case, depending on case complexity.

What you will do

• Conduct independent remote case reviews evaluating medical necessity, appropriateness, and quality of care.
• Provide evidence-based assessments and written determinations using clinical guidelines and review criteria.
• Review utilization review cases, appeals and hearings, and quality-of-care or standard-of-care concerns.
• Assess care delivered to military members and their families.
• Maintain clinical integrity, neutrality, objectivity, and required turnaround times.

Requirements

• Must be actively practicing and seeing patients for at least 20 hours per week in Maryland.
• Active, unrestricted U.S. license or certification required.
• Board certification in family medicine from an ABMS- or AOA-recognized board.
• At least 5 years of clinical experience in the specialty.
• Experience treating children through telemedicine, including regular pediatric treatment and prescribing.
• Strong written communication, attention to detail, independent judgment, and the ability to work in a secure remote environment.
